Nàhuatl Pipil (Nawat)

El pipil o nawat és la llengua parlada originalment pels pipils, per exemple a El Salvador, i relacionada amb el nàhuatl parlat a Mèxic. El terme pipil, com a nom per a la llengua, és utilitzat per la comunitat d'estudiants internacionals, per distingir-la principalment de les variants de nàhuat de Mèxic.

Pipil or Nawat is the language originally spoken by the Pipils, for example in El Salvador, and related to Nahuatl spoken in Mexico. The term Pipil, as a name for the language, is used by the international student community, to distinguish it mainly from the Nahuatl variants of Mexico.
